Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi have impressed in the batting department during the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.
Azam has the highest death overs (17-20) strike rate, 243, so far in PSL 9 after scoring 56 runs in that period of the match.
Meanwhile, Shaheen has the highest batting strike-rate, 219, against spin in PSL 9 so far.
Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi have qualified for the playoffs but Shaheen’s Lahore Qalandars, defending champions, could not make the final four of PSL 9.
The tournament enters into decisive stage as Multan Sultans face Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier 1 today at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
The top teams clash in an exciting battle for supremacy that will also determine the first finalist of an action-packed PSL season.
The Sultans were the first team to reach the tournament playoffs with seven wins in their ten league stage matches, before being joined by the Zalmi franchise who won six out of their ten games.
